week 10 what mekes a good ad

Viewers will notice it.
-          Because this campaign  is going to be something that woman all around the world can relate to because it is a so many things that can help correct your skin in one bottle which is convenient.
Each individual ad unit will grab the viewer's attention.
-          by showing women that you don’t have to get plastic surgery just take care of your skin with Olay products and it will show you it self.

It is distinctive to the brand.
-          Because it is going to be shown as something to have in every house hold for women to use to improve their flaws in their skin.

It differentiates the brand or group.
-          The brand of course because it is promoted as a must have brand for woman over any other Olay can offer more for less which will make the brand more recognizable

It is consistent with the brand voice.
-          Because it has always been a high demand brand and something that they want women to not only use but embrace the skin care products  that can take care of your skin and enhance  the beauty for every woman.
The idea makes sense for the brand or group.
-          Because the direction of the brand was to be usable by any woman and to teach the proper way of skin care and that’s exactly what I’m showing in my ad campaign
It could run forever (almost).
-          Yes because it still stays true to the old fashion the proper products protects the skin and the proper approach makes it easier  that’s why it can last forever.
It will surprise people.
-          Yes it should because the approach im taking isn’t the norm I want to show real women using the product and loving it and show how it can be different than others.

It will start a conversation in pop culture.
-          Yes, because I want Olay to be seen as that skin cream you can use to fix anything, and makes you feel that way also.

for those who think young

In this ad the message “get used to it” seems to me that there is some type of vulgarity to it this is a jean line by Paris Hilton and the picture shows that this would be something she would love. Their was a huge deal with posting this bullion board in New York because of the way the young lady is grabbing his upper leg and showing an intensity an connection of the two. I feel that the vibe that they are giving is rather sexy but trying the bust the seams of that conservative teen and to get use to the new young and sexy generation.
Also another point in this photo I feel is the surroundings they have by being on the beach and incorporating a beautiful setting to go along with the ad makes it a bit more tasteful because the mood of the picture can change the point of view of the reader so that it doesn’t appear so un appealing to the eye, or in other words showing that the new way of showing how sexy a jean advertisement for teens can be percept in a modern way that will also catch every ones attention.

This ad is way more provocative and straight to the point the feel of this is dark but yet glamorous and implies the use of snorting cocaine but is actually replaced with a garment and in white lettering saying “FASHION JUNKIE” and are high off fashion. This as is absolutely genus to me it catches your eye and makes you wonder why a pig poster of two girls doing drugs would be up but in actuality they are clearly and bluntly promoting people that are addicted to fashion. Everything from the hair to the way the girl on the right’s eyes are rolled back to indicate that she is high off fashion. The message is clear and the picture speaks for itself.

(Analysis of Project in the Real World[6])

(Creative Content[5])

(Promotion[4])

(The Big Idea[3])

CC secret
“Wonder how you can get balanced tone skin? , then I’ll tell you about my CC secret.”
What this pitch means is that you can have the skin of your dreams but all you have to have is the CC secret. Passing this product from one woman to another shows that us woman don’t have to keep all out secrets to our self but show it to every women to make every last women feel good about their skin to empower her and the women after her that just hasn’t quite found that one product to lean on for pigmentation blemishes. In this advertisement I am focus on showing that such a product with wonderful performance for beauty can be life changing for some women and they don’t want to tell what it is. But my point is to share the secret with every woman to feel beautiful. “Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Drunk” advertising campaign. Have you ever “spoken up” to stop someone from texting while driving because you recalled a public service ad (see p. 4)? These two highly effective Ad Council campaigns prove that advertising matters. Also in my advertisement I want to show that this ad isn’t just to get you to buy but to buy a product that can help enhance and prefect those little flaws without having to consider the option of being under the knife. And to as well promote the fact that you will feel young and beautiful no matter what, I want to motivate women to explore the different skin creams Olay has to offer put in this case the color corrector cream more so. Women need to know that there is something that can boost that self-esteem and the health of your skin without going to desperate measures.
“The objectives of [public service] ads are education and awareness of significant social issues, in an effort to change the public's attitudes and behaviors and stimulate positive social change.”  When you turn on the TV set and see an ad of a product you are well aware about you sometimes skip it but when you actually watch it you seem to now have a better knowledge of the brand that’s the big idea the consumer will be able to see this ad and relate and be aware of the different thing Olay has to offer from their skin creams to the face washes. To get the buyer to purchase my product I want to bring to the attention the pro’s and con’s and change the attitudes of the women to that they feel more open to the product, which will be easy to do because you can relate to it like I stated earlier.
